Seth Armstrong was named the general manager of Molly Woo’s
in December 2018. Armstrong has a heart for hospitality and was first drawn to
the industry while working as a bag boy at Orchard Hills Country Club. His love
of creating incredible guest experiences is what led him to Cameron Mitchell
Restaurants (CMR) in 2014. He worked for several CMR concepts prior to Molly
Woo’s, including Hudson 29, The Barn, Martini, The Guild House and The Pearl,
working initially as a server and then as a manager and bar manager.
His favorite part of working for CMR is the people. Armstrong
speaks highly of his team, saying he has never enjoyed working with a group of
peers so much, and that he is continually impressed with their ability to
deliver genuine hospitality.
Armstrong believes the most important thing has learned
through the years is patience and feels this is a core strength that fosters
Armstrong attended The Ohio State University and received a
degree in Hospitality Management. His past experience includes working at
Mirror Lake Café/Sloopy’s Café and the Hyatt Regency.
Outside of Molly Woo’s, Armstrong can be found listening to
classic rock, reading or enjoying his favorite dish - the French Dip with
Havarti Cheese at Hudson 29. He most importantly enjoys spending quality time
with his family. Armstrong lives in Powell with his wife and daughters.
